purchased avior x3 to go backpacking with my two sons.Chose it for its high tech. spec.,light weight,and very compact size.Treked and camped in Cairngorm mountains over the last four days, it kept out heavy rain and the midges while keeping us comfortably insulated inside without any condensation.Another bonus is the ease and speed that it can be erected and packed away single handed,[my 10year old put it up in just over 4mins.]dont try to exit by the side flap when its raining though, as the water will drip onto the inside of the groundsheet,use front porch.not the lightest but the most compact 3 man tent when packed I could find.More than happy with everything about it, right down to the robust wee pegs.Would recomend it for backpacking, wild camping ect.

My criteria for my tent was to be lightweight,compact and manageable for me to put up on my own. Over the years i have wasted money on tents that never quite manage all these, but finally one has.I travelled around France with this tent and a rucksac last summer, and would find something new about it every time i lay in it. Well ventilated and designed for both wet and cold and also heat, lightweight and seperate bags for tent and poles make i very flexible for carrying.. It went up in a minute and above all fitted back into it's bag every time.
I am going to buy another one for my son and would highly recommend not wasting money on any other tent of this size.

I am a very keen backpacker. I go everywhere with my wife and two dogs (one border collie sheep dog and the other a german sheperd cross rottweiler[he's very big.]) We carry over 100litres of equipment when completing overnight walks in Scotland and the Lakes.
This is rated as a three person tent and it easily holds all of us inside with a good size porch area for our kit. The lighweight composite material also makes it easy to carry attached to the rear of the backpack. All I need to do now is train the dogs to carry a rucksack!!!

Very good value for money, after I spent hours travelling around various camping shops and testing different pieces of equipment.

I got this to go motorbike touring, so size and weight were my primary concerns, and at 3kg with a tiny pack its a brilliant tent thats spacious enough for me, my gear and with enough room left over to get kitted up inside if the weather is bad. Goes up easy in just a few mins with only one person. You get a lot of tent for your money and I would really recommend this.
