The Confidence Holiday Lux is a bargain 6 person tent. Great for families or for a couple of people that prefer to have an ultra-spacious interior. Despite it’s size the tent is easily setup in 20 mins, or less, no doubt helped by the colour-coded poles.The tent is, of course, waterproof and well ventilated. The interior is divided into 2 rooms, each has it’s own zipper and entrance – ideal for separating the daytime and night-time areas.

I just want anyone who wants to buy this tent, to know that this tent is not at all water-proof.

i bought this tent because i have recently retired my festival tent after 7 festivals as it was starting to look a little worse for wear. i read the reviews on the tent and realised allot of people's problems came from the construction of the tent and issues with the instructions. personaly i found these instructions very easy to follow and very helpfull. i managed to put the entire tent up by myself in around 10 minutes. the one point that put a downer on the tent is that it came with no guy ropes. but as my tent will be used for the sole perpose of festivaling and not climbing the himilayas i am not worried about that at all. by all means buy this tent if you have enough common sence to be able to read a simple set of instuctions without ripping your tent in two. enjoy the savings.

Easy to errect, after a trial, getting fly sheet on in the wind can be fun. As I am used to backpacking camping the size was something of a shock, you can stand up in it!! We had four adults and there was heaps of space to keep all the extras that get taken by the less hardy camper. Stood up to some serious Dales wind and rain with no problems at all though the groundsheet does seem a little thin. For the price a bargain, be interesting to see how well it copes with regular use though.

A very spacious tent, that with a squeeze we were able to fit in 5 older children and 2 adults. Very easy to set up and easy to explain instructions for first timers. Would definitely purchase again from this seller.

Tent was quite easy to put up (once we realised the instructions were wrong...!), coped with relatively strong winds and didn't leak despite a couple of nights of heavy rain. Can't really ask for more for the money!! Only criticism was that it was impossible to get the canvas taught therefore it was very noisy flapping in the wind and the groundsheet isn't very thick so we put another layer down to prevent it ripping. But again at this price its still great value for money!
